С марта 2009 г. принято Постановление о личной подаче документов в УФМС. В назначенный день и час необходимо лично явиться в подразделение УФМС и сдать документы уполномоченному сотруднику. В случае оформления паспорта нового поколения дополнительно производится специальное фотографирование.
